what is Music therapy?

“We have worked with (our therapist) for several years now and she has been truly amazing. She finds special ways of connecting with your child such as learning to play their favorite songs for them to help bring them out of their shell and to motivate them to work on their specific goals or needs. She is very patient with clients that need a little more support and help and is always finding new and inventive ways of adapting her sessions to best fit your child. And any time I have needed additional assistance or documentation to help my child even outside of her sessions, she has readily and quickly completed all requests. She has been a joy to work with and I hope we can look forward to many more years of collaboration for my child.
